[00:00:19] I could hear the ringing in my ears, I could feel my heart race so I hit my life and I

[00:00:26] went flying up there.

[00:00:29] I've been told by some older people, elders that you grab them and you hold them and you

[00:00:37] don't own them but you hold them there until daylight if we can hold them or pull them into

[00:00:44] the light it destroys anything they have.

[00:00:48] Any kind of power or anything that they were trying to do to you it'll destroy them.

[00:00:54] This guy was like bouncing.

[00:00:58] You know how you see people getting ready to jig?

[00:01:02] You know how they bounce?

[00:01:03] Yeah he was like that way, he was just kind of bouncing and he was just going back and

[00:01:07] forth one foot through the other and he just turned sideways and he turned back over to

[00:01:14] the other way and he took off.

[00:01:18] Holy sh** he jumped in and wanded up.

[00:01:52] You know there's a lot of stories and a lot of spooky things that take place all across

[00:01:58] the world but particularly on Indian reservations there's a lot of things that go on.

[00:02:03] I don't know what that is.

[00:02:07] I don't know if it's because maybe we're more spiritually inclined or something.

[00:02:14] I really don't know why that is but to me that really sticks out.

[00:02:22] I mean I've been reaching out to a lot of different people on TikTok.

[00:02:29] You know that there's a lot of people out there that are interested in the paranormal and ghost stories

[00:02:34] and stuff like that and it's just us natives we have so many you know

[00:02:42] and indigenous people in general we have a lot of experiences and things that go on

[00:02:48] with us individually and our families, different areas of the reservations.

[00:02:55] There's so many things that happen and I mean it's really interesting to learn about all these

[00:03:03] and talk about them with different people and you know it can get pretty intense at times

[00:03:12] so if you're feeling really spooky just take a break from the podcast or

[00:05:05] So yeah the seven mile lane place is it's an enigma for sure there's something going on there

[00:05:13] a lot of history there you know a lot of spirits around there and they all tend to be kind of bad

[00:05:19] you know there's not really there's a few good stories from that place like actual good things

[00:05:24] but a lot of it's just like a lot of bad things have happened there

[00:06:13] again Angelo Bulplume and his wife Leanne

[00:06:17] I'm only going to tell you about this doll in the 60s we've done lots of flat down here

[00:06:32] just a couple blocks from where I'm at now

[00:06:36] for as long as I can remember

[00:06:43] my mom had this doll for as long as I can remember it was an old doll

[00:06:50] it was like he had arms from the elbow

[00:06:56] and then inside it was like wire or wood or something

[00:07:03] he had a porcelain head porcelain like the body was stuffed sewn around it

[00:07:10] and it was stuffed but the inside the skeleton was like wood or wire or something

[00:07:18] anyway he was going to enter into an old Victorian porcelain doll thing

[00:07:24] that she had

[00:07:29] I think it was

[00:07:33] I don't remember the story right if it was given to her by one of her uncles

[00:07:38] because one of her mom's brothers because he had passed away

[00:07:45] maybe he wanted to go away so

[00:07:47] oh no my grandpa bought it and gave it to my mom

[00:07:50] that's not a way to buy it for the month

[00:07:52] from his brother-in-law

[00:07:55] and my brother my dad my grandpa's brother-in-laws were the running fishers

[00:08:00] my grandmother's maiden name is running fishers her name was Dolores

[00:08:07] she married John Calfkeal my mother's parents

[00:08:11] so John bought this doll from one of his brother-in-laws

[00:08:16] or it was given to him or traded something for my mom

[00:08:22] and as long as I remember she's had it

[00:08:25] and I was like whoa and I was like look at that

[00:08:28] and I just didn't like that thing

[00:08:31] you can see like every time they took it out and I heard them talking about it

[00:08:35] and I watched his eyes his eyes were falling like you know

[00:08:38] the older folks

[00:08:40] and I was sitting there and I was listening to them

[00:08:43] and I first seen that doll and I see it

[00:08:45] it was about I remember just a little bit shorter than I was

[00:08:51] I remember looking at it almost eye to eye

[00:08:54] they were big dolls

[00:08:56] yeah and then they were saying that

[00:08:59] now watch his eyes you know

[00:09:01] one of my brothers or sisters were walking here

[00:09:05] and I said look at his eyes falling

[00:09:07] oh well it was doing that

[00:09:09] his eyes as I see his eyes

[00:09:11] it was like he was looking at him and then it stopped

[00:09:13] and looked back at me and then looked back at my brother and my sister

[00:09:17] and that's what really freaked me out

[00:09:19] and you know I was like oh it's eyes

[00:09:21] I tried to tell my mom that she was looking at me

[00:09:24] and she said yeah it looks like everybody

[00:09:26] and she was telling us a story that how she had it for all these years

[00:09:30] and it came with a dress

[00:09:35] real nice old Victorian dress or something

[00:09:38] anyway she made a buckskin outfit for it

[00:09:42] moxins and everything you know

[00:09:44] that's how she had it when I see it

[00:09:48] and I think it was Christmas

[00:09:52] she was planning on giving it to one of my sisters

[00:09:56] and they took it out too well

[00:10:00] you know to fix it up

[00:10:01] they were running chalk on that buckskin

[00:10:03] you know cleaning it up

[00:10:06] and I remember that doll

[00:10:13] one morning I got up

[00:10:16] it was Tuesday like

[00:10:18] getting overcast out sky

[00:10:20] sunny here and there you know

[00:10:22] I remember going outside and my mom called me

[00:10:27] and I was running

[00:10:28] our porch was a big old porch

[00:10:31] pretty good sized

[00:10:35] not just a little porch it was like a deck

[00:10:38] and I remember running from that deck to that door

[00:10:41] and that door slam shut and you know that

[00:10:43] and I remember seeing that doll standing there

[00:10:45] actually shut that door

[00:10:47] it wasn't

[00:10:50] it was I wasn't afraid

[00:10:54] when I opened the door

[00:10:55] and my whole family was in there

[00:10:57] I thought it was one of my brothers or sisters

[00:10:59] but that doll was standing by that door

[00:11:03] every time when I go in the house

[00:11:05] if I'm alone you know

[00:11:07] then I'd look around

[00:11:09] and see if that doll was around in that

[00:11:11] in the house somewhere

[00:11:15] I walked in

[00:11:16] I heard my mom calling

[00:11:18] and I went into that

[00:11:20] when you walk in there's our living room

[00:11:22] and then right off to the right

[00:11:24] there's a bedroom

[00:11:26] a door to a bed two bedrooms there

[00:11:28] and then a little hallway in the bathroom

[00:11:30] and then off to the right

[00:11:32] I mean straight ahead there's a kitchen

[00:11:34] then off to the right there's another bedroom

[00:11:36] going out

[00:11:38] there's a little tiny

[00:11:40] I'd say four feet of hallway from that

[00:11:42] from that bedroom into the kitchen

[00:11:44] and it goes straight ahead

[00:11:46] and there was chairs there

[00:11:48] was a chair, easy chair

[00:11:50] and a couch another easy chair

[00:11:52] and a TV between those two bedroom doors

[00:11:54] on the right

[00:11:56] anyway when I walked in there

[00:11:58] when I went in there

[00:12:00] I heard by some

[00:12:02] you know

[00:12:04] when you hear kids running

[00:12:06] you can actually hear like

[00:12:08] almost a padding on a floor

[00:12:10] when you're running

[00:12:12] this thing was like almost like glass

[00:12:14] or something

[00:12:16] something like that

[00:12:20] like a buggy harmony and that stuff

[00:12:22] and when I put her on it

[00:12:24] you can see that little bug skin

[00:12:26] piece of that bug skin go around

[00:12:28] and it screams my mom

[00:12:32] she came running and she

[00:12:34] she didn't believe me

[00:12:36] or I don't know if she did or not

[00:12:38] but that's nothing

[00:12:40] he said don't it's not lying

[00:12:42] you know my dad used to laugh at me

[00:12:44] when he was laughing I thought

[00:12:46] my dad was reason-hell with me

[00:12:48] you know

[00:12:50] and the mom even told me

[00:12:52] and he said I'm not

[00:12:54] I'm just laughing because it's scary that doll

[00:12:58] but that doll was always do things

[00:13:00] like we would be eating

[00:13:02] you know how families

[00:13:04] sometimes it goes sitting in the living room

[00:13:06] my dad had a TV

[00:13:08] they called him TV dad

[00:13:10] you might ask around

[00:13:12] about that people with older guys might know

[00:13:14] I guess it was one of the first ones

[00:13:16] to own a TV and an auction flat

[00:13:18] they called it TV dad

[00:13:20] so they called it TV dad

[00:13:22] they remember while I was sitting in the living room

[00:13:24] watching TV

[00:13:26] and so he kept taking my food

[00:13:28] and I was looking around

[00:13:30] and I thought it was a dog

[00:13:32] no dogs around

[00:13:34] my brothers were all sitting close to the TV

[00:13:36] and I was only one sitting there with my dad's feet

[00:13:38] and then I

[00:13:40] seen this little tiny thing like that

[00:13:42] come out right by my leg and it was a hand

[00:13:44] but it wasn't a hand it was like

[00:13:46] all fused together like a doll hand

[00:13:48] fused together like a doll hand

[00:13:50] and that doll was laying underneath

[00:13:52] my dad's chair with it's hand sticking out

[00:13:54] and it was taking my food

[00:13:56] I told my mom

[00:13:58] I told my mom with the A mom

[00:14:00] that um

[00:14:02] that doll is my sister June

[00:14:04] and it was June that's who my mom

[00:14:06] my mom gave that doll to

[00:14:10] he said during the winter feed your doll

[00:14:12] it's taking my baby's food

[00:14:14] teasing around like that

[00:14:16] and he used to wake it up

[00:14:18] through the way he did it to one of your brothers

[00:14:20] he just little things

[00:14:22] like that you know what always

[00:14:24] happened

[00:14:26] and it was one night I kept telling my mom

[00:14:28] and dad I scared that doll

[00:14:30] and I didn't like that doll

[00:14:32] and one night I told my

[00:14:34] um my brother

[00:14:36] and he used a bath and I kept waking him up

[00:14:38] and he wouldn't get up for nothing

[00:14:40] so I ran out

[00:14:42] ran up outside

[00:14:44] and he threw that switch

[00:14:46] and my dad ran out on extension cord down there

[00:14:48] for a light for the house

[00:14:50] and it's 60 you know

[00:14:52] I had a house

[00:14:54] I had a lot of houses

[00:14:56] and then on Halloween it turned over

[00:14:58] upside down

[00:15:00] how was it doing

[00:15:02] anyway I ran down

[00:15:04] that toilet it was late

[00:15:06] I knew it was late and it was kind of snowing up too

[00:15:08] and I ran down

[00:15:11] that toilet when I used the bathroom

[00:15:13] and I ran back home

[00:15:15] that door was locked

[00:15:17] there's probably a door and that doll was standing there

[00:15:19] on that

[00:15:21] chair by that window

[00:15:23] um

[00:15:25] there was an easy chair by the

[00:15:27] kitchen door and other easy chairs

[00:15:29] between the couch and then

[00:15:31] there was a couch and another easy chair

[00:15:33] by the window over there by the door

[00:15:35] and that's what that doll was standing on

[00:15:37] looking out the window

[00:15:39] well when I went to use the bathroom there was no doll there

[00:15:41] there was nothing in there

[00:15:43] and um

[00:15:45] I was out I don't know how long I was out there

[00:15:47] but

[00:15:49] um

[00:15:51] my dad was bringing me in

[00:15:53] he was giving me a side

[00:15:55] he was warming me up I got sick that time

[00:15:57] really bad

[00:15:59] I ended up in a hospital I think I had pneumonia

[00:16:01] and uh

[00:16:03] they were touching gophers in pneumonia back then

[00:16:05] you know

[00:16:07] they uh

[00:16:12] they um

[00:16:14] they were trying to get my folks for

[00:16:16] for neglect and shit like that

[00:16:18] mm-hmm

[00:16:20] my dad said he was outside and he went to use the bathroom

[00:16:22] I was going to go crawling

[00:16:24] behind a house we had chickens

[00:16:26] I was going to go crawling there and sleep with them but I

[00:16:28] I don't know why I never

[00:16:30] I told my dad I said that doll locked me out

[00:16:32] my dad he's telling my mom

[00:16:34] that when he when he seen me out

[00:16:36] found me outside

[00:16:38] I think he went up to use the bathroom

[00:16:40] because he's seen you up like

[00:16:42] I don't know four or five in the morning

[00:16:44] he tried to

[00:16:46] tie her down to work you know

[00:16:48] anyway when he got up

[00:16:50] he said he fell me outside and it was um

[00:16:52] it was my foot tracks out there

[00:16:54] and it was a little smaller tracks and they weren't tracks

[00:16:56] they were just like the outline of a shoe

[00:16:58] but that's how that doll's foot looked

[00:17:00] you know

[00:17:02] and he was telling my mom I think their doll

[00:17:04] locked my baby out

[00:17:06] at the house last night

[00:17:08] and then since that time

[00:17:10] that doll disappeared

[00:17:12] I never knew what happened to it until

[00:17:14] uh

[00:17:16] because it was uh

[00:17:18] what was it in the 80s then when that house

[00:17:20] burned down

[00:17:22] in 82 when a house burnt down

[00:17:24] way out in the country

[00:17:26] and that's where that doll

[00:17:28] burned up in their house

[00:17:32] no nobody

[00:17:34] believed me you know

[00:17:36] my

[00:17:38] my uh the only one that would believe me was my dad

[00:17:40] and my brother David or a beer

[00:17:42] but one of them boys said that um

[00:17:44] said that doll was biting him

[00:17:46] or something or scratching him

[00:17:48] and then I got to blame for that too

[00:17:50] haha

[00:17:52] man

[00:17:55] but that doll he always gave me

[00:17:57] that creature you know and every time

[00:17:59] I see them kind of dolls and porcelain dolls

[00:18:01] it just

[00:18:03] I just feel like not afraid

[00:18:07] but you know I just wonder if there's

[00:18:09] anything in those in those dolls

[00:18:11] you know that can possess

[00:18:13] them and stuff like that

[00:18:15] yeah there's a few stories

[00:18:17] out there with that happening you know

[00:18:19] um

[00:18:21] had a friend that they used to get chased by one

[00:18:23] in their their house

[00:18:25] oh yeah they'd

[00:18:27] get up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night

[00:18:29] and that thing would chase them right down

[00:18:31] the hallway back to their room it was a black

[00:18:33] raggedy hand doll but it was handmade

[00:18:35] oh yeah

[00:18:37] I believe I see that

[00:18:39] thing move that doll when I was a kid

[00:18:43] it was a ball

[00:18:45] I would say it was about

[00:18:47] the size of a guitar you know how tall

[00:18:49] the guitar stands

[00:18:51] it's about that tall yeah

[00:18:53] and his legs I remember

[00:18:55] it was like

[00:18:57] porcelain then from the porcelain

[00:18:59] part it was sewn to um

[00:19:01] it was um

[00:19:03] it was I can't remember

[00:19:05] it was weird or wire inside there for the body

[00:19:07] but around it was

[00:19:09] stuffed and sewn in you know yeah

[00:19:11] like a body

[00:19:15] I always thought it was weird how that happens

[00:19:17] like how

[00:19:19] you know just inanimate objects like

[00:19:21] that can become

[00:19:23] possessed or it's almost like they have their

[00:19:25] own life or something

[00:19:27] yeah yeah my cousin

[00:19:29] he was a dancer

[00:19:31] powwow dancer and he had you know

[00:19:33] those dancing sticks that they just kind of twirl

[00:19:35] around but you know there's something on the end of them

[00:19:37] and they twirl them yeah

[00:19:39] yeah he had some of those with his

[00:19:41] outfit and uh

[00:19:43] he went to my dad's house in Browning

[00:19:45] right behind a junction drive in there

[00:19:47] and he went to his house to change him

[00:19:49] and his buddy he says

[00:19:51] oh I said it sounded like somebody was

[00:19:53] fighting outside that house

[00:19:55] he said I got up and I

[00:19:57] I looked out that window then I opened that door

[00:19:59] he says there was your cousin and one of his

[00:20:01] friends they were wrestling on the ground

[00:20:03] so they had big smiles

[00:20:05] with their wrestling right there

[00:20:07] he says oh

[00:20:09] he's come over to ask if we could change

[00:20:11] here at your house we're dancing down

[00:20:13] there at the powwow and he said oh yeah

[00:20:15] go ahead so they change in everything

[00:20:17] they go down and they dance and

[00:20:19] they're coming back and they

[00:20:21] they got their outfits off

[00:20:23] and put away and they were gonna head out

[00:20:25] and said they're goodbyes

[00:20:27] they left well

[00:20:29] my dad and his girlfriend

[00:20:31] they started hearing some sounds in that room

[00:20:33] where they changed that

[00:20:35] they just hearing sounds

[00:20:37] I put his ass on like a mouse

[00:20:39] look all over and

[00:20:41] no mice and then they

[00:20:43] they seen a bag there was like a pillowcase

[00:20:45] and in it was those dancing sticks

[00:20:47] he says oh this guy forgot his sticks here

[00:20:49] so we'll have to tell him

[00:20:51] but in the meanwhile they kept

[00:20:53] hearing that sound looking for those mice

[00:20:55] and there was no no mice

[00:20:57] so one day they were sitting back there

[00:20:59] and I don't know what they were doing

[00:21:01] there was a bed and everything back there

[00:21:03] but they must have been visiting

[00:21:05] sitting on that bed or something

[00:21:07] but they heard that sound again

[00:21:09] and well they were looking at that bag

[00:21:11] and hear that bag was just kind of moving

[00:21:13] like it was moving

[00:21:15] like it was twitching and they looked in

[00:21:17] there was no mice just those sticks

[00:21:19] and those sticks were kind of moved

[00:21:21] in a different spot

[00:21:23] so my dad got a hold of him

[00:21:25] he better come and get your sticks

[00:21:27] I think they

[00:21:29] they want to be with you

[00:21:31] back here moving around and he started laughing

[00:21:33] okay how come we get him

[00:21:35] and he went and grabbed them

[00:21:37] they didn't hear that sound anymore in there

[00:21:39] but see even things like that I wonder how they

[00:21:41] how that happened

[00:21:43] oh

[00:21:45] maybe it was just

[00:21:47] had a lot of power with them or something

[00:21:49] I don't know

[00:21:51] you know this dog

[00:21:53] we used to have his name was Skipper

[00:21:55] our dog

[00:21:57] that dog would never never go in a house

[00:21:59] I mean other dogs would go in a house

[00:22:01] you know

[00:22:03] but that one dog would just never

[00:22:05] go in a house

[00:22:07] sit on a porch

[00:22:09] oh yeah that dog was following

[00:22:11] my dad said that dog was killed

[00:22:13] by me

[00:22:15] I think he was barking my dad

[00:22:17] said that Skipper

[00:22:19] mm-hmm

[00:22:21] my dad had gone up that

[00:22:23] day that morning

[00:22:25] he must have been out there almost all night

[00:22:27] well I was remembering

[00:22:29] going out there I remember

[00:22:31] my folks

[00:22:33] the folks were still talking

[00:22:35] their light was on in the room

[00:22:37] I told them I need a bathroom

[00:22:39] and told you tell my brother to come with me

[00:22:41] and they never saw this with myself

[00:22:43] was it cold out

[00:22:48] was it winter already

[00:22:50] it was cold

[00:22:52] it was snowing

[00:22:54] it was just

[00:22:56] it wasn't sticking on the ground

[00:22:58] but I remember going to the bathroom

[00:23:00] it was snowing because I turned that light off

[00:23:02] my dad had

[00:23:04] a switch from the house

[00:23:06] to the outhouse

[00:23:08] just sort of switching it

[00:23:10] and the light comes on in the outhouse

[00:23:12] but you can see from the light

[00:23:14] shining under you see the snow falling down

[00:23:16] like rain or sleep or something

[00:23:18] yeah

[00:23:20] and when I got home

[00:23:22] it was still the same

[00:23:24] but when my dad came out he said

[00:23:26] there was snow on the ground

[00:23:28] you see him dog's tracks

[00:23:30] my tracks you can see even

[00:23:32] dog tracks so I dare

[00:23:34] or little tiny shoe tracks

[00:23:38] he's looking for that dog after that

[00:23:42] so at that point

[00:23:44] oh go ahead sorry

[00:23:46] he told my sister to do something with you

[00:23:48] I renovated her pretty much

[00:23:50] in her room and locked it up

[00:23:52] she locked it up in her room

[00:23:54] in a suitcase

[00:23:56] I always remember

[00:23:58] my sister's suitcase

[00:24:00] she had it for years

[00:24:02] she had all her stuff stored out at my mom's place

[00:24:04] that's where she died to my sister

[00:24:06] hmm

[00:24:08] out there at that old place

[00:24:10] anyway not long after that happened

[00:24:12] that house burnt

[00:24:14] I think she died that

[00:24:16] and then that winter that house burnt

[00:24:20] I remember it was a way up in the attic

[00:24:22] because there she had three TVs

[00:24:24] in there a bunch of tents

[00:24:26] you know a cavity state

[00:24:30] you know all these stuff

[00:24:32] oh jeez my dad had

[00:24:34] a bunch of hides up there

[00:24:36] he had painted on

[00:24:39] but that one dog

[00:24:41] boy I was

[00:24:43] never so glad in all my life to see something

[00:24:45] gone you know

[00:24:47] but then I looked at these

[00:24:49] if I googled something

[00:24:51] and googled them all Victorian

[00:24:53] dogs I bet you I can find the one

[00:24:55] out that was made

[00:24:57] jeez

[00:24:59] but it stayed there locked up in that attic

[00:25:01] ever since it locked you out of that house huh

[00:25:03] yeah

[00:25:05] well we moved

[00:25:07] from Oxfam fly you know

[00:25:09] and then that house that burnt up

[00:25:11] that was way south of Hartview and in Blackhill

[00:25:13] oh okay

[00:25:15] we moved after we moved from Browning

[00:25:17] and moved to Blacktail out there

[00:25:19] that's where I grew up

[00:25:21] but it was always in the attic upstairs

[00:25:23] and I remember

[00:25:25] I remember when we first

[00:25:29] first moved out

[00:25:31] we just had a trailer

[00:25:33] and us boys were staying in tents you know

[00:25:35] we didn't put

[00:25:37] we didn't have any TPs then

[00:25:39] maybe it was my dad's TP

[00:25:41] but anyhow

[00:33:39] and so finally after some time

[00:33:41] his wife passed

[00:33:45] that's when he stopped showing up

[00:33:47] he quit coming there he waited for his wife

[00:33:49] and went with her

[00:33:51] and there's many other stories too

[00:33:59] so in my wife's family

[00:34:01] one of her great aunts

[00:34:03] passed away and she was

[00:34:07] the bible a catholic way I think

[00:34:17] that's how she lived her life and that was what she chose

[00:35:45] bring any kind of confusion to anyone

[00:35:55] and dad they were telling us a story

[00:35:59] at night when they go to bed

[00:36:03] a thud on top of the house

[00:36:11] and all everything was done

[00:36:15] and he would hear a thud on top of the house

[00:36:21] they'd feel something like getting off of their bed

[00:36:31] I guess they did that for quite a while

[00:36:37] somebody told them they said well

[00:36:39] you should let your boy go

[00:36:49] he's not here, he's sick here

[00:36:53] he died sick

[00:36:55] every time he comes he's going to be sick

[00:36:57] and he can suffer like that

[00:36:59] in the afterlife

[00:37:01] my folks said wow

[00:37:03] so they quit feeding

[00:37:05] they quit laying food out

[00:37:07] and I guess they just

[00:37:19] she said that's a long and quick

[00:37:23] she didn't miss him anymore

[00:37:27] that thing would come down

[00:37:31] again they'd get off of their bed

[00:37:33] and then my mom said when they quit feeding

[00:37:35] things would get swung around in there

[00:37:37] and it would be bad you know

[00:37:41] get messed up in there a little bit

[00:37:43] and after a while they said

[00:37:45] just quit everything just stopped

[00:37:47] and then when my dad passed away

[00:37:49] my mom she lived in Harbut then

[00:37:51] she didn't live out in the country

[00:37:53] but they gave her house in Harbut

[00:37:57] she would never live with any of us

[00:37:59] my brother or my sisters

[00:38:01] when I was asked her why

[00:38:03] she said well

[00:38:05] my old man's gonna come after me

[00:38:11] I gotta be here and that's where she died

[00:46:01] there's two bedrooms on the south side

[00:46:15] they got tired of it and I was the only one bowling

[00:46:25] anyway that room was open

[00:46:27] and that ball went in there

[00:46:29] and I couldn't find it anywhere

[00:46:35] my brother's helped me come and look for that ball

[00:46:37] they come down at hallway with me

[00:46:39] walking down at hallway and they come bouncing on that room

[00:46:43] so we ran in there to see who it was

[00:46:47] thought we'd catch one of my sisters in there

[00:46:49] and I was raising a howl at this one

[00:46:51] nobody in there

[00:46:54] and I told my brother I said there's nobody in there

[00:46:58] some girls raising a howl at this

[00:47:00] we went in there and looked all over and over

[00:47:02] and then when we

[00:47:04] combined that bedroom

[00:47:06] the other bedroom door was open

[00:47:08] and a ball was in there

[00:47:10] and my brother went to pick it up

[00:47:12] and it rolled away from him and it took off

[00:47:14] I didn't see it roll away from him

[00:47:16] but he took off on it and I chased him down

[00:47:22] so we took

[00:47:24] me and my brother we took those

[00:47:26] it was kind of a Christmas do we

[00:47:30] we threw our bowling set away

[00:47:38] one of my relatives had passed away

[00:47:56] I can't even see the band in the back

[00:48:02] when I screamed I jumped up

[00:48:08] all I see is this white thing floating towards me

[00:48:34] and she always had it switching around for ghosts

[00:48:48] on the spirit though they say

[00:49:10] and I remember him coming home

[00:49:14] me and my mom I couldn't sleep after that

[00:49:20] telling my mom that

[00:49:22] the relatives had passed away

[00:49:25] I was asked by my mom

[00:49:31] and then I remembered and I told her

[00:49:37] that black hat

[00:49:42] I believe you sort of got a story

[00:49:48] me and that guy

[00:49:50] come to your old mom's house

[00:53:51] and my dad still seen that person

[00:54:25] and you pour the alcohol out

[00:54:27] he said that's it no more we're done

[00:55:31] in there'd be upstairs

[00:55:33] and holy run all over those

[00:55:35] rooms because it was a big hotel

[00:55:37] that then I'd be looking

[00:55:39] out the windows like a hill we were

[00:55:41] on but it wasn't no

[00:55:43] hill there used to be a side door

[00:55:45] in that one night there was a man

[00:55:47] standing there

[00:55:49] and when my sister

[00:55:51] she was she wouldn't open the door

[00:55:53] because she said she just felt

[00:55:55] she just felt fear

[00:55:57] and she just said where do you want

[00:55:59] and he said open this door

[00:56:01] she said we're closed we've got no rooms

[00:56:05] when he turned around

[00:56:09] jumped off of that little porch

[00:56:11] and you could just see his tail

[00:56:15] all my sister just ran

[00:56:17] down to that room

[00:56:19] and she just started praying

[00:56:21] and she got scared you know

[00:56:23] she locked those doors

[00:56:25] she wouldn't let nobody in for the night

[00:56:27] and after that my sister

[00:56:29] just told that manager I'm done

[00:56:31] I'm not working here no more

[00:56:33] you're gonna have to have if I'm gonna

[00:56:39] she said because somebody came here last night

[00:56:41] and it had a this person

[00:56:43] had a big long tail

[00:56:45] and he wanted me

[00:56:47] to let him in that

[00:56:51] he wanted to get a room

[00:56:53] he was asking for a room

[00:56:55] and then when she was standing

[00:56:57] I guess some hit that window

[00:57:01] some hit that big tall window

[00:57:03] and she was just looking at that man

[00:57:05] and that's when

[00:57:07] she told him I don't have no vacancies

[00:57:09] and he turned around when he jumped

[00:57:11] off that porch

[00:57:13] she said you could just see that tail

[00:57:15] out of his big long trench jacket

[00:57:17] so that same thing

[00:57:19] that my sister seen

[00:57:21] my parents seen that

[00:57:23] he came to our home

[00:57:25] she is

[00:57:27] that was really

[00:57:29] you know we all got really scared

[00:57:31] and my dad

[00:57:33] that Sunday he just went to church

[00:57:35] to that long church

[00:57:37] and he asked for prayer because

[00:57:39] he would get nightmares that night over

[00:57:41] that person you know

[00:57:45] yeah he's still been around

[00:57:47] there's a

[00:57:49] story I heard it would be recently

[00:57:51] compared to those

[00:57:53] old tales like that but

[00:57:55] same thing went into a house

[00:57:57] dressed the same way big tall guy

[00:58:01] even got through locked doors

[00:58:03] they didn't know how he was just opening those doors

[00:58:05] when they were locked and this was out at heart

[00:58:07] go out there and

[00:58:09] you know have a beer with people then head out

[00:58:15] and cops even seen him

[00:58:17] he was trying to

[00:58:19] on a snow shed there

[00:58:21] my friend was a cop and it was trying

[00:58:23] it was jumping off that bridge trying to get people to wreck

[00:58:25] they called them in

[00:58:27] so he went and

[00:58:29] sure enough he responded and he seen him

[00:58:31] and he just stepped off that bridge

[00:58:33] like he jumped onto the railroad tracks

[00:58:35] and my friend thought he

[00:58:37] had a suicide

[00:58:39] person you know case or whatever

[00:58:41] so he drove down there

[00:58:43] and that thing was standing there looking at him

[00:58:45] like with his leg up like the marble man

[00:58:47] he said and he was smoking a cigarette

[00:58:49] and he had his flashlight out

[00:58:51] and his headlights you know toward it

[00:58:53] and he started walking and he says

[00:58:55] hey you alright

[00:58:57] and that guy just smiled at him

[00:58:59] but the edges of his smile went all the way up by his eyes

[00:59:03] he just walked around that pillar

[00:59:05] well he says he slithered around that pillar

[00:59:07] and he went down

[00:59:09] shining that light around looking for him

[00:59:11] there was no way he could have ran anywhere

[00:59:17] yeah there's another story of it chasing

[00:59:19] a guy on the railroad tracks

[00:59:21] cutting him up, cutting his back up chasing him

[00:59:25] yeah that thing's still around

[01:01:34] my dad said oh no we're done

[01:01:38] I guess after that man warmed up

[01:01:42] when he walked out that

[01:01:44] big old thing

[01:01:46] just come out of his tail

[01:01:48] from our door

[01:01:50] to our um

[01:01:52] by our wood stove

[01:01:54] we just went all into that room and just

[01:01:56] you know how it like just wrapped around like that

[01:01:58] and he only jumped off

[01:02:00] of our porch and he was already on the other street

[01:02:04] my dad said he was going to try to chase

[01:02:06] him and I said no Arthur just leave him

[01:02:08] and you know what

[01:02:10] all you could see is real tiny hoofs

[01:02:12] my dad went out

[01:02:14] to see if he could see his tracks

[01:02:16] but this man

[01:02:18] when he had feet in our house

[01:02:20] but when he was outside his hoofs

[01:02:22] became hoofs

[01:02:24] it's like he transformed

[01:02:30] you know there was really a lot of other things

[01:04:44] she wasn't even touching the ground

[01:04:50] he seemed like he got really

[01:04:52] rebellion my brother

[01:04:54] he starts sniffing gas

[01:04:56] he starts getting wild

[01:05:00] after he's seen this

[01:05:06] when he opened that door

[01:05:10] my brother began to be really bad

[01:05:24] the cops would always be bringing him home

[01:10:22] and this is what she told my mom

[01:10:38] for my grandpa's state that's like another two miles up between

[01:10:48] and she picked up her boyfriend

[01:11:08] they headed out and they went right

[01:11:24] they ran out of booze so they went back

[01:11:30] and then they were on their way home

[01:11:34] her boyfriend was driving all that time

[01:11:40] he was getting drunk so my auntie said

[01:11:44] kind of leaving on the road

[01:11:48] they're coming up from

[01:11:50] on seven mile lane

[01:11:54] we're at seven mile lanes between

[01:11:58] in Deepwater

[01:12:02] anyway they were coming home

[01:12:04] and it was getting later

[01:12:06] and later and later

[01:12:10] my auntie she was telling

[01:12:13] her boyfriend that

[01:12:15] she couldn't drive anymore she was too drunk

[01:12:17] so I think she was in a park

[01:12:19] her boyfriend said well we just

[01:12:21] need to get home so he started driving

[01:12:23] and up towards that

[01:12:25] as you're coming west from

[01:12:27] Seven Mile Lane there's that first curve

[01:12:29] you come to at the end of Seven Mile Lane

[01:12:31] there's a sharp curve it curves

[01:12:33] off to the left I guess they

[01:12:35] go in too fast through there and they hit that

[01:12:37] and they flip that car

[01:12:39] I guess they rolled a few times

[01:12:44] and they were sitting there

[01:12:46] and it landed on its wheels

[01:12:48] but they're just quiet

[01:12:50] and you know they're all busted up

[01:12:52] pretty good you know

[01:12:54] and uh

[01:12:56] and by then I guess it was dark

[01:12:58] and they could hear out

[01:13:00] I don't know if my mom said

[01:13:02] if somebody combined her

[01:13:04] or uh

[01:13:06] oh they started bothering them

[01:13:08] right away that's who

[01:13:10] yeah because

[01:13:12] is that one of them had

[01:13:14] was dying in that wreck

[01:13:16] and then one of the passengers in the back

[01:18:13] coming after them people in that car

[01:18:17] but wasn't there a woman murdered down there

[01:18:19] when she was in my lane beat today
